New Year Breaks

Why not give Paris a whirl this New Year? A romantic weekend away in one of the world's most elegant cities could be just the ticket. Visit the "Eiffel Tower" and enjoy a meal at one of its two restaurants (the view of the city below is breathtaking, so is the food.)

If you've been there done Paris already, why not consider somewhere sunnier like Gran Canaria? With great year-round temperatures (mid twenties in January) you'll come back with a tan - and possibly lots of African style art (the island is full of it.) Morocco is every traveller's dream. Not only does the country have bags to offer with regard to culture, the lifestyle in the Arab country is worlds apart from anywhere you've visited before. Check out the thousands of markets, or 'souks' as they're called, and see rug making and pottery being shaped right in front of you. There are also tonnes of museums and galleries worth a visit. The Museum of Morrocan Modern Art in Tangiers is not to be missed. And did we mention Moroccan food? Dinner on the terrace in the Hotel Riad Kniza is as good as it gets.
