The capital is called Valletta (which is a really nice name I think) and is crammed full of Maltese cafes of cool, and boutiquey bars of understated style. Something that is much lacking in the European search for a cheapish sun drenched short break in a city.

The decor for the bathroom is Moroccan, which according to cool people is the new chic styling for any discerning fashion conscious couple.

If your in a party of 4 and all want to bunk up for the night then fear not. The sofa turns with ease into a second bed constructed with comfort in mind. Beware of the sunken bath however, falling into that at night after a few too many herbal teas is both easy and embarrassing.
