Air Asia Rocks

This will of course be the most brutal 12 hours of aviation anyone has ever suffered but for that kind of price who can really afford to dispute it? Especially with the current economic crisis.

The purpose of bringing these flights to your attention is to highlight how much cheaper hardened travellers can now get to Bangkok, Thailand. In the past 15 years Thailand’s popularity has soared with Western travellers, the majority of which are students looking to get smashed on a beach somewhere. The only problem really has been the price. If a student was (as they usually are) to book a flight late in the day they could look at paying up to £750 just to get there. Major bummer man if you're a skint student man!

So bearing this in mind Air Asia has just decided to slap the answer to this student conundrum in the worlds face. Add another two days travelling either side to your trip and fly to Kuala Lumpur and then get another flight for around the same price to Bangkok. It takes a fair bit longer but saves cash massively in the long run.

If you are unfortunately too late though for Air Asia’s deals then try flightdeals or WhitehallTravel. They’ll both try and rip you off but if you just barter them down and play them off against each other the money they knock off is ridiculous. Book early enough and get flights to Bangkok return for as little as £350.
