An Edinburgh hotel with a difference

They don't hold an Aberdeen Festival do they? No, they don't. Anyway, Edinburgh also leads they pack when it comes to hotels too; you've already seen the Balmoral, but what else is there?

The Holyrood apartHOTEL is a four star gem of a hotel right n the heart of Edinburgh city centre, at the Holyrood end of the Royal Mile. The offer what they like to call 'serviced apartments', which are actually just big hotel suites, but whatever irritating buzzwords they use, you can't deny the quality of the place. The service is top draw and the price is pretty good too; you're looking at £170 or so for a night in a double room, but you can get 15% if you book early. They also have offers on all year round.

It's the perfect place to plonk your weary bones after a long day schlepping around Edinburgh with a map, a bag and a look that says 'potential victim of petty crime'.
