Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland is served by two airports: Belfast City and Belfast International. Belfast City mostly has flights to and from the UK whereas Belfast International has direct flights to most of Europe, Canada, Mexico and America. To fly to any other international destinations you will have to travel via any of the London airports, Glasgow, Manchester, Amsterdam or Paris.

Belfast International Airport is centrally located within Northern Ireland and is also near to the border areas of the Republic of Ireland. Belfast City Centre is just a twenty minute drive away. Belfast City Airport has been recently renamed the George Best Belfast City Airport is very close to the City Centre with a one way taxi fare costing approximately £6. Both airports have good bus links to the City Centre. The main airlines serving Belfast are Aer Arann, Air Berlin, Air Transat, BMI Baby, Ryanair, Easyjet and Flybe.
