Book a flight and get off to Portugal today

Well before you start blowing your hard-earned all over the place, you might want to check out how much flights are costing you these days.

A quick scan of Momondo and Expedia shows that short notice flights aren't really all that cheap these days (nor should they be, what with all those harmful gases you travellers are pumping up into the ozone), but if you're prepared to wait until Friday 20th March you can catch flights from Gatwick to Lisbon and back with Air Portugal for a mere 65 quid, and it only costs a pound more from Heathrow, if that mazy hell hole is somehow more convenient for you.

Those will be the best prices you'll find, as a cursory check of the Northern and Midlands airports shows. In fact I'm pretty sure that Gatwick and Heathrow are the only airports that fly to Lisbon, although if I'm wrong readers, don't shoot me. I'm just an arrogant Londoner completely ignorant of the rest of the country.
