Book a flight to Portugal

There are over a dozen major airports in Portugal providing flights to the not-so-easy to reach parts of this fabulous Mediterranean country.

The most important airport is Lisbon International Airport which is conveniently located in the city centre. The most popular mode of transport to and from the airport is by taxi and a journey into and from the city shouldn't cost more than €20. Several buses also serve the airport, stopping right outside the arrivals terminal. Buses 44, 83 and 745 run from the airport to the city centre. As the primary airport in the country Lisbon Airport is serviced by a large number of international carriers with connections to North and South America.

Faro International Airport in the south is Portugal's second most important airport, with millions of passengers travelling through it every year on their way to and from the Algarve. The airport's single terminal is modern and well equipped, providing domestic, intercontinental and international flights. The airport is not far from the centre of Faro and buses, daily shuttles and taxis frequently run to the city, while those with booked accommodation on the Algarve will often qualify for a free transfer.
