Chicago is one of the easiest cities to get to in the United States. You can fly there direct with the most well-known airlines from all major airports across the UK with fares starting at around 300GBP return. The flight duration from London to Chicago is approximately 8 hours 30 minutes.

There are two main international airports in Chicago, namely O’Hare and Midway airports. The first is located 17 miles northwest of downtown Chicago and is conveniently accessible via trains, buses, shuttles and taxis. The latter is located only 10 miles from downtown and is easily accessible via a wide range of ground transportation in just 20-30 minutes.

From both airports the fastest and cheapest way to reach the city is by the CTA public transportation service which offers a rapid transit train operating between the airports and downtown.
