Dublin flights

The historic city of Dublin is served by one airport. It is the busiest airport in the Republic of Ireland, dealing mainly with international air passengers. The airport has one terminal although a second terminal is due to open in 2010.

Dublin Airport is located 10km north of Dublin city. To reach the airport by road follow the M50 northbound and take the M1 exit. The airport is clearly signposted from here. There are a multitude of car-rental operators located in the Arrivals area of the airport. Dublin Bus operate a frequent public service from the airport to Dublin city and its surrounding areas. Pre-paid tickets can be purchased for the bus, a €6 ticket offers unlimited use of the bus for 1 day. Aircoach also run a coach service from the airport to various parts of Dublin. Taxis are widely available and a fare into Dublin city centre should cost no more than €20.

The Clarion Hotel and the Radisson SAS Hotel are both located on the airport grounds. There are numerous other hotels situated within a couple of kilometres of the airport.

Direct flights from Dublin to Europe along with intercontinental flights are widely available from the airport. Most of the big international airlines fly into Dublin Airport.
