Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport is located 20 miles southeast of Athens and the approximate flight duration from London is 3 hours 40 minutes.

If, instead, it’s the sun and beaches you are after, the Cyclades Islands are the perfect destination for your Greek holiday. There are two main airports in the Cyclades, namely Mykonos Island National Airport and Santorini National Airport. Flight connections from Athens are very frequent during the busiest summer months, a bit less during the rest of the year. You can book flights from Athens to Mykonos and Santorini with Aegean Air and Olympic Airlines. Flights from Athens to Mykonos take approximately 35 minutes, to Santorini about 45 minutes and tickets cost around 60EUR one way.
