For a perfect holiday this year why not try Barbados in the Caribbean

The Caribbean is made up of a large group of islands in the Atlantic Ocean located off the south coast of the USA and the east coast of Central America. These beautiful islands provide a great area to explore; from the bigger and well known islands such as Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Haiti to the many smaller and lesser known islands which are havens from all the hustle and bustle.

The best way to travel around the Caribbean is undoubtedly by boat. If you are not a proficient skipper yourself, there are a number of all inclusive options available which provide you with a manned boat and include your food and drink. These can be a great way of getting around the Caribbean and perfect for those with young families allowing them to experience some sailing and to see some of the beautiful islands.

While there are many destinations, one of our favourites is the island of Barbados. There are some fantastic resorts which provide a very high level of food and service. The island itself is extremely beautiful and there are great opportunities to visit some of the beautiful reefs along the coast. Scuba diving is very popular and well worth a special effort here. Barbados is just one example of some of the beautiful islands that make up the Caribbean and the perfect holiday destination.
