Grab a flight to the Amalfi coast today!

The Amalfi Coast is the most beautiful part of Italy's stunning west coast, stretching from Sorrento to Salerno, and certainly deserves a visit from even the most casual of browsers who stumble across this blog.

It is an area of gorgeous, precipitous coasts that fade away to golden beaches and lemon tree groves around every few turns. Even when the cliffs bar your access to the sea, its blueness is a calming and gorgeous presence.

The Amalfi Coast is perfect for travelling along randomly. It demands no plan and provides more towns and villages than you could possibly need. Your only planning should be the rental of either a car or, for the very fit, a bicycle. Then, just head off and stop wherever the sea, or sea-food, looks best!

The Amalfi Coast is very accessible and there are numerous cities to fly in to and numerous airlines providing flights. That said, we would like to recommend that you fly into Rome! It is cheap (it is Italy's biggest hub), there are plenty of flight options and it allows you the chance to explore the city itself. It is also really easy to hire a car! And a flight from Heathrow will only set you back about £150. Good value however you look at it!
