Holidays in the land down under!

Australia attracts large amounts of tourists from around the world each year and for very good reason. The country has been well designed around tourism and there is a huge amount to see and do. To start with there are some great cities. Sydney is a fantastic city with a whole lot on offer. The city itself is based around the beautiful Sydney Harbour and there are many sites including the Sydney Opera House and of course the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge. Melbourne and Perth are also great cities with plenty to see and do.

However, when most people think of Australia they think of the fantastic natural landscapes and geographic sites. One of the most famous, and undoubtedly one of the best sites Australia has to offer, is the Great Barrier Reef. While holidaymakers are now much more limited in what they can see and do at the Reef, due to environmental concerns, if you like scuba diving or snorkelling this is well worth a special trip.

Alternatively, why not make a traditional hike in the outback part of your holiday in Australia. You can learn all about how the native aborigines live and get a great insight into their unique and distinct culture. There is really so much to see and do in Australia you will need some time set aside to see it all.
