Las Vegas Holidays

Located in the middle of the Nevada desert, Las Vegas is quite literally an oasis in the middle of the hot desert. The city is based around the world famous strip, where all of the larger hotels are located. If you are flying into Las Vegas, be aware that there are some great deals on flights through some of the larger American airports such as Chicago O’Hare and JFK Airport.

In terms of accommodation there is no point in travelling to Las Vegas and staying in a cheap hotel or hostel. You are well advised to stay in one of the better hotels. While these can be expensive, the hotels are so large that there are some great deals on midweek rooms, especially last minute. You are much better off staying in Las Vegas midweek and staying in one of the following hotels: the Bellagio, the MGM Grand, New York New York, or the Venetian. All of the above hotels have great facilities, restaurants and of course very large casinos.

But a trip to Las Vegas is not all gambling and dancing. There is some great entertainment and there are some very high quality shows in many of the larger hotels. Whether it be magic, music or dance, there is really something for everyone in fabulous Las Vegas.
