murcia flighst bigThe Cathedral is the main tourist attraction in Murcia. Built between 1394 and 1465 in the Castilian Gothic style, its full name is the Cathedral of the Diocese of Cartagena.

The tower was completed in 1792 and as a result, the building shows a range of architectural styles from Renaissance and Rococo to Neoclassical and Baroque. The Holy Week procession hosted by the city is also famous across Spain and beyond as is the colourful Huerta Parade held a week after Easter.

Flight time from London to Murcia is around two and half hours and the time difference is one hour ahead of GMT. Flights are offered from the UK by Easyjet and Monarch and of course also as part of package deals. Price comparison websites may offer a better price especially if you can be flexible with your travel dates.
