Not going to Bangkok is plane stupidity

Or at least flying there will. You can stay in a rat infested shack in a gutter for twenty pence a night and talk about how 'real' it all is, while the locals look at you and dream of being able to live in a proper house, or spend some time in a hotel. But whichever way you carve it up the flights are going to cost you a few quid.

For instance, if you want a non-stop flight to Bangkok from Heathrow you're looking at about a grand for a week long stay, if you book a journey with a stop in between you might get a decent deal of about £500 for the same length of stay, but more than likely you're going to be shelling out nearly a large one. For instance Qatar Airways, KLM, Etihad, British Airways and Thai Airways are all doing stopper flights for next month in the region of £600 one way. Now that's not good for your pocket, is it? No it isn't. But it's worth shelling out for, so stop your grumbling, cheapskates.
