Relax in Cyprus, let the hotel staff take the strain

I wrote about taking in the historic sites of Limassol on Cyprus the other day, and avoiding the lads' and lasses' holidays to 'Napa crowd. It was an altogether more sedate affair, as befits a gentlemen with such a respect for other peoples' cultures, as well as a snobbish revulsion of anyone from Essex. So this time we're going to hook you up with a hotel, because we're nice like that, ya feel me?

Seeing as you want a restful holiday full of relaxification and what not, I suggest plonking your bags somewhere you can just do diddly squat and let everyone else do all the work for you. The Elias Beach Hotel & Country Club is one such place, and is especially quiet out of the traditional tourist season. Rates for rooms there average out at about £90 a night, which isn't too shabby at all, but be warned that there's not a huge amount for kids to do, and that it's a short bus ride form the main town. But there is a decent restaurant, and they have a differently themed dinner in there every night, if you don't fancy walking across the road to one of the very good Greek places.

Basically, if you want to chill out for a week or so, but don't want to splash the cash, then the Elias Beach Hotel is well worth checking out.
