April, May, September and October are the ideal months of the year for a holiday in Sardinia, when most of the crowds have left, the weather is pleasant and prices for flights and hotels have dropped.

There are few direct flights to Sardinia from the UK. Easyjet fly to Cagliari from London Luton and Stansted, and to Olbia from Bristol and London Gatwick. Ryanair reach the town of Alghero from London Stansted. However, Sardinia is easily accessible from the mainland, therefore you can book flights to Cagliari, Sardinia’s main town, Olbia or Alghero, depending on your final destination, from all major Italian airports such as Milan, Rome and Florence.
