Taxis and car rental operators are also well represented at the airport. There are no hotels located on the airport grounds, but there are many quality establishments to be found in Faro.

Many passengers also get a flight into Lisbon Airport, in Portugal's capital city. The airport is situated 7km outside Lisbon city centre. The Carris Aerobus 91 runs a regular service into the city centre from the airport, with a full journey lasting approximately 20 minutes. There is a stop at the city's main train station for passengers who wish to connect with a train. The closest hotels to the airport can be found in the city centre.
