Tasty fodder in Belfast That's not true of his native Belfast, and if he'd stayed close to his Undertones roots then he'd have known that. You might need yourself a new liver after a few days there though, and they are considerably harder to find. What I also found in Belfast was one of the best seafood places I've ever had the pleasure of sitting down at. Mourne Seafood Bar is a mini-chain with three restaurants, one in Dundrum, one in Newcastle and this one. Its speciality is top notch seafood at wonderfully low prices. Well prices that you'd never expect in this calibre of restaurant in any case. I had piri piri prawns with salad, warm focaccia and the fish and chips, and with a beer and a tip on top that rounded up to 20 quid. It's seriously great value for money. Oh and if you're hungry the next day, get yourself down to The Barking Dog on Malone Street. You won't find a website for it, but keep this with you; it offers you 29 different types of potato with their main courses. Twenty nine! That's got to worth checking out, surely?
