The Rocks: Sydney's premier tourist trap

No real city is complete without a few places outside of the city centre that are worth a look. Milan, I'm talking to you. But better than all of that is a good old fashioned tourist trap for us foreigners to gawp at.

The Rocks is basically all of Sydney's best sites in one go. It hosts markets that are right under the Harbour Bridge and has all the main attractions practically under your nose. I didn't try it, but the Bridge Climb looked like a lot of fun, and Sydney Observatory is ace if you like a good view. I do, so I say it's good. That's how things work round here.

It also happens to host some of Sydney's best restaurants, or just ones that are really high. Fortunately, Altitude was both those things, letting me fill my large stomach with food, while looking out across that wonderful city. It was bliss.
