Think about holidaying in Scotland this year.

Scotland has become one of The places to visit for a staycation holiday. That is, a holiday where you don’t venture abroad. With Edinburgh and Glasgow airports now operating frequent flights between Scotland and the rest of the United Kingdom, and Aberdeen airport coming in a close second, transport links have improved no end.

Whether it is the rugged beauty of the Highlands and the region of the whisky distilleries that you wish to explore; a shopping spree in one of Glasgow’s arcades or the tradition and ceremony that abounds in Edinburgh, Scotland has plenty on offer. You can go skiing in Inverness or hiking and camping in Glencoe, or enjoy boutique hotels, designer shops, art galleries and museums in most of Scotland’s cities.
