Veni, Vidi, Vici – in Venice

Venice is close enough for a weekend break and there are masses of cheap last minute deals out there at the moment. Myvenice.co.uk is a website dedicated to finding holidays in Venice and is currently offering three nights at a three star bed and breakfast for just £129 per person. This is flying from London Gatwick direct to Venice and leaving on 8th September.

Lastminute.com has some reasonable deals too. A city break to Venice staying at the four star luxury Hotel Carlton and Grand Canal on a bed and breakfast basis costs from £529.15 per person for three nights, including flights. Flights depart from London Gatwick on 14th July and return on 17th July.

Expedia is also well worth a look for a last minute break, or even if you want to plan ahead. Venice is a beautiful city with so much to see and do. It really is worth taking a trip.
